Think of this as similar to how you would use Spotify or Netflix. You do not purchase all available music or movies. Instead, you pay a subscription fee and have access to all.
In a similar fashion, a small business that cannot afford a fleet of expensive delivery robots can simply “subscribe” to the RaaS service. Since the robots are cloud-enabled, they receive the latest software updates and the collective knowledge and experience of the entire network, delivering immediate effectiveness.
Therefore, the standalone robot era will be replaced by an era of connected intelligence. The next time you see a robot, don’t simply ask what it does. Instead, ask yourself, “Is it thinking independently or is it linked to a larger brain?” Now, you have the ability to recognize the great difference.
